The Auckland Folk Festival brings a wealth of music and dance to Kumeu over the three days of the Auckland Anniversary weekend.
Guest artists are invited from all over the world to bring creativity and colour to the festival. The line-up for 2017 includes Don McGlashan, Four Winds (from Ireland), Kirsty Bromley (England), Adam McGrath, Great North and many others.
There will be music and dance workshops, given by local and international tutors, blackboard concerts and Come-all-ye’s that provide a stage for performers to share their musical passion.
The festival food and craft village offers a range of ethnic foods and wares, including musical instruments and clothing. Head along to the Auckland Folk Festival in January and share the colour and ambience of New Zealand’s biggest folk festival!
