Come and get #ATasteOfTheWild at the iconic Hokitika Wildfoods Festival Saturday 11th March 2017 at Cass Square, Hokitika.
Every realm of Wildfoods will be explored at the Festival, from West Coast favourites such as whitebait and venison, to the edible icons of Aotearoa and abroad, from the river, sea, bush, plains and mountains. This is an event for every foodie’s bucket list, offering the gamut from delicacy to disgusting, from oysters to mountain oysters, and everything in between.
Headline act on the main stage for 2017 is Salmonella Dub, supported by a range of other renowned demonstration chefs, buskers, roving entertainers, MCs, comedians and stage acts.
Make sure to dress up or down for the Feral Fashion competition, with a great range of prizes to be won from friends of the Festival, including Air New Zealand.
Other events over the weekend include a new addition: the Wildfoods Warm Up (Friday 10), the return of The Official Afterparty (Saturday 11) and the continuation of the Wildfoods Market (Friday 10-Sunday 12).
